The requirement was for a simple, updatable website, which incorporated newsletter/blog functionality. There was to be a main newsletter, emailed to the clinic’s registered patients and saved as a page on the site, and two site-only newsletters, similar in functionality to a blog, to be entered into the site without being emailed. Further requirements were then outlined for another newsletter to be sent out, without being saved to the site.
SimpleContent’s Newsletter add-on caters for these requirements, additionally automatically copying the current newsletter to an archive when a new one is created.
Adding the current newsletter and archive to the public view of the site is simply a case of adding the Newsletter Content Item to a page within the admin system.

The requirement was to take an existing, mostly completed, static website design and improve the functionality to include updateable multi-lingual content and a contact form.
SimpleContent’s Multilanguage add-on extends the page content to allow each item to be specified for the languages required. When a page is requested, the system chooses the correct content based on the browser’s language settings, or a selection made on the website (in this case, by clicking on the flag relating to the language in question). Any content that is not language specific, such as pictures, need only be added once and assigned the language of ‘All’. Conversely, a picture that is only to be shown to particular language users can be assigned to that language alone.

The requirement was for an updatable website, with several content pages, and a categorised membership facility where each member can be responsible for their own content, but the layout of the pages was to be strictly controlled and selected from six predefined templates. The categories were to be shown as pages on the website, complete with links to all the members within that category.
SimpleContent’s Membership add-on provided the functionality required. Members’ information is added by a system administrator, who has the option of either assigning a page template or allowing the member to choose their own. Until a template is assigned, the user’s entry is the default contact details. When the member first enters the system to update their content, they will be given a choice of page templates.
Each member can be assigned to one or more categories. The list of members in each category are added to a page, simply by adding the Members List content item and selecting the relevant category.
A list of events is displayed on the website's homepage. These events can be entered by the administrator or by the members themselves.
